• 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 chopped medium green onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • dash of white pepper
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten

To make egg drop soup heat chicken broth, salt and white pepper and bring to the boil in a medium sized saucepan. Stir the green onions into the eggs.

Pour the egg mixture slowly into the boiling broth, stirring constantly with fork to form shreds of egg. The egg drop soup is now ready to serve.
