- 2 oz chinese barbecued pork
- 1/4 lb fresh or frozen peas (chill peas first if they are fresh)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp peanut oil
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups long grain rice, steamed
- 4 oz fresh bean sprouts
Authentic fried rice is a typical Chinese dish that is very easy to prepare.
Firstly, we will need to heat our wok or a dry skillet. Once pan starts getting hot and smoking, pour in the peanut oil. After, add rice, pork and peas and stir-fry for approximately 2 minutes. Pour into the mixture the soy sauce and stir-fry for another minute or so.
Lastly, pour the lightly beaten eggs over the mixture and continue to cook until the eggs are done which should take around a minute or two. There you have it, authentic fried rice to serve hot to your guests!
